Kyai Mangku Negeri Traditional House

This is one of the typical houses of Malay culture in the Ketapang. It is located on the banks of the Pawan river.  Tourists can see the architect of this building enjoying the Pawan river.

The Cathedral of St. Gemma Galgani

The patron of the church is the religious and mystical Italian Passionist Saint Gemma Galgani. In addition to the local priest, the brothers of the Congregation of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the Immaculate Conception operate a shelter. There are also two congregations of nuns who administer a bedroom that include the Augustinian sisters.

Dayak Traditional House

Introduce the culture of the Dayak tribe that still uphold customary law. The uniqueness of the building has a style that is elongated and has a level on each floor in accordance with the function and usefulness of the building in the customs of the community.

Matan Royal Palace

Ketapang Matan Royal Palace is introduced the building in the Tanjung Temple Kingdom in 1922.  This palace stores heirloom objects such as a pair of cannons, jars, scales, sewing machines, beds, swords, traditional clothing, historical relics.

Great Mosque of Al-Ikhlas

As to the grand mosque of Ketapang, it took them seven years to finish the structure (2011-2016). The internal designs were finished only in early 2017 and are considered as some of the most beautiful in Indonesia, combining both Malay and Arabic motifs. The whole place was intended to accommodate only 5,000 people at a time.

The Old Temple of Pek Kong

Pek Kong Temple is a Chinese temple and also a cultural tourist destination that is over 130 years old.  In this temple, you can see some of the uniqueness of the building that presents Chinese culture.

The Muara Kendawangan Nature Reserve

This area holds a wealth of biodiversity such as six types of primates, seven types of mammals, about 135 species of avifauna, and 34 species of herpetofauna. This area has an area of 1,200 hectares. The rainforest reserve is home to orangutans, Bekantan, red parrots, crocodiles, gibbons and various reptiles.

Gunung Palung National Park

Gunung Palung National Park has an area of 108,043.9 hectares. Gunung Palung National Park holds a variety of animals such as Bekantan, Orangutan, Long-tailed Macaques, and mini-gazelles.

Teluk Akar Bergantung Forest

This place also called city forest has an area of about 106 hectares. This forest has many types of plants such as Medang, Waru, forest coffee, Rengas, Bungur, and various forest orchids.

Daya Hill
